| Larry has always been drawn to the word empyreal and all that it embodies. He called his first company Empyreal Solutions. Joy liked the name and began using it for her coaching practice. Ontological coaching is focused on bringing light to unknown or dark places. Full self-actualization is the highest plane for all egoic based life. |

Empyreal coaching's mission is to hold pure light.
As a metaphor, empyreal, an abode of pure light, aligned well with Joy's Scottish roots. Joy hails from the McLoed (MacLeod) clan and their motto is hold the light. The motto comes from two clan lineages: hold fast and yet I see the light. These combined metaphors support the empowerment of others through coaching, training and speaking. |

What is the symbolism behind your tagline, highlighting the journey?

Coaching is an exploratory conversation with a beginning, middle and an end. Much like life, it is a journey. By bringing light into our lives we are enriched by our experience. In coaching, we bring conversation to the present moment, acknowledge the past and continue forward into the future, one of mindful creation.
